Hi, all — Kelsey here! I have been interested in Breast Augmentation Surgery for a long, long time, and I think I’m finally going to go through with the procedure. First of all, I want to make sure I find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to do the procedure. This is MOST important. Then, I want to have choices — saline or silicone breast implants, etc.
I have found the site I will use to find my surgeon and learn all about the different aspects of Plastic Surgery of the Breast. The place to go to learn about Breast Augmentation is Breast Implants USA.

3 Great Diet Tips
by Kelsey on Nov.19, 2009, under Diet
A proper diet is essential to healthy living. Here are three great tips that will keep you happy and healthy throughout the day.
Diet Tip #1: Drink plenty of water or other calorie-free beverages.
People sometimes confuse thirst with hunger. So you can end up eating extra calories when an ice-cold glass of water is really what you need.
“If you don’t like plain water, try adding citrus or a splash of juice, or brew infused teas like mango or peach, which have lots of flavor but no calories,” says Cynthia Sass, RD, a spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association.
Diet Tip #2: Consider whether you’re really hungry.
Whenever you feel like eating, look for physical signs of hunger. “Hunger is your body’s way of telling you that you need fuel, so when a craving doesn’t come from hunger, eating will never satisfy it,” says Dr. Michelle May.
When you’re done eating, you should feel better — not stuffed, bloated, or tired.
Diet Tip # 3: Be choosy about nighttime snacks.
Mindless eating occurs most frequently after dinner, when you finally sit down and relax.
“Sitting down with a bag of chips or cookies in front of the television is an example of eating amnesia, where you mindlessly eat without being hungry, but out of habit,” says American Dietetic Association spokesperson Malena Perdomo, RD.
Try closing the kitchen down, or going with a low calorie snack to satisfy your “hunger.”

3 Great Beauty Myths Revealed
by Kelsey on Nov.19, 2009, under Fashion
It’s tough being a woman nowadays. Being bombarded with messages about what we should wear, eat, do and say is tough. Here we have cut out some of the fat from the beauty myths out there giving you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but:
Beauty Myth #1: Toothpaste can cure pimples
Well, yes. Toothpaste has menthol and other active ingredients that can dry up a pimple and make it heal much quickly than if left alone. However, the same active ingredients in toothpaste that can heal a pimple can also dry up and irritate the skin of your face, so it is better to use a pimple cream rather than toothpaste for your pimple.
Beauty Myth #2: Mayonnaise makes for a great conditioner.
No, this one is not a myth. Mayonnaise, as long as it is real, does make for a great hair conditioner. The oil and eggs that can be found in real mayonnaise is rich in fatty acids and protein that nourishes the hair.
Beauty Myth #3: Applying ice to the skin makes the pores smaller.
Nothing can make the pores smaller. The size of our pores is the result of genetics, not of temperature applied on the skin, so some people just have smaller pores than others.
